System solutions for enclosures

AWL has come up with a range of solutions for enclosures. As standard we supply machine concepts with double turntables and two 6-axis spot welding robots. There are two specific production jigs fitted to the turntables that can be used for a variety of products. The front of the machine is protected by an L-shaped light screen.

The operator can enter the desired product variant on the operating panel. The various single parts are put into product fixture and then a number of tensioners are manually set. After the start signal is given, the tensioners are applied pneumatically and the turntable rotates 180 degrees. Both robots begin the spot welding process at the welding position.

The robots weld continuously - while the robots are busy on one of the jigs, the welded product can be removed from the operator's side and new parts inserted. This system solution ensures optimal utilization and also balance between both the robot and the operator.
